Etec 60 constantly playing warning beep

Hi all

My 2015 etec 60hp works fine but whenever the ignition is on there is a warning beep, but all the warning lights go out and the engine works fine. I wonder if it’s a lose connection? Any ideas?

Thanks

Re: Etec 60 constantly playing warning beep

Is it a constant tone or an on-off-on-off beeping sound?

Most likely it is a bad gauge. Unplugging it and plugging in a known good gauge is the quickest way to tell.

It’s a constant tone. Should I just go out and buy a new gauge?

Best to check it first.
