Oil leak

Well. Just purchased new 2016 etec 135ho that hasn't been started by me yet. It is leaking oil from front of motor in the travel position. Quite a bit actually. Haven't lifted the cowl yet. What should I look for?

Is it black or dark colored suggesting an exhaust leak somewhere or is it amber or blueish unused  oil which could have been spilled or leaking out?

Remove the motor cover and inspect and call your dealer.

Re: Oil leak

Thanks for the quick reply. After talking to the dealer it was determined oil was probably in the air box from the pdi oil priming. When the engine was tilted for so long it drained some out. There was no oil leak to be found inside under the cover. I can't wait to try this motor out!
