Propeller Nut size

Hello,

I have a G2 250HO and need to remove my propeller in order to get to some fishing line which got wrapped behind the prop. I tried a 1 1/16 and found that to be to small. I dont have any other sockets so I need to buy one, I just want to make sure I get the correct size. I tried looking it up online but couldn't find anything and the manuel doesn't give the nut size . Thanks in advance for the help.

Re: Propeller Nut size

The prop nut for a G2 is the same size that has been in use on the V6 Evinrudes for years. It also uses the same cotter pin and stainless steel retainer.  It is 1-1/16"
