Engine Report Cylinder Cycles

I have a 2011 200DPX that i just had serviced and noticed that on the report that all of the cylinders were at 443 cycles except for #3 which was showing 99 cycles. Motor has right at 1,000 hours and runs great and the mechanic didn't know what the cycles meant. Does anyone out there have a explanation for this discrepency and if i should be worried about it?

Thank You

Re: Engine Report Cylinder Cycles

Those values have to do with the fuel injectors  at specific cylinders, not the cylinder itself.I suspect that low cycle injector was replaced at some point. Not an issue.

The E-TEC  engine is so precise that it keeps count of the injector pulses and compensates for injector wear that may affect proper fuel flow as the engine ages.  As was mentioned, one injector was probably replaced at some time.
