I have a new Etec 150 HO with an Atlas 6" setback hydraulic jack plate, on a Triton 189 TRX. When trailering long distances, is the built in tilt locking bracket adequate, or would a motormate or some other type of transom saver be better? Thanks.
I assume that you have an Evinrude E-TEC G1 150 HP. The factory installed trailering bracket is made just for that.
