Is there any way to turn off the fuel level & alarm pop-up display? I have two flat 30 gallon shallow fuel tanks and when either one of the fuel tanks get about half empty I start getting pop-up displays on low fuel level that you have to X out of pop-up to clear the screen when the fuel is sloshing around. Every time you take off or shut down and in between I'm getting this pop-up/alarm. I start getting this alarm around the half tank mark..This is very annoying and could be a safety issue while trying to touch screen to clear pop-up while running 50 MPH across the water. The fuel level pop-up covers almost the entire screen, keeping you from seeing gauges. Is there any way to turn this feature off or put a delay timer to keep alarm from coming in so much? I'm not the only one having this problem. The boat manufacture of my boat has been trying to get Evinrude to fix this. Is any one else having this problem?

You do not have to post the same question multiple times here on E-NATION
We will refer your question to our specialists. Being after hours and with the upcoming weekend it may be a few days wait.
Thank you for taking time to write to us.
No, you are not the only person who has commented on the low fuel popup on the ICON display gauges. Both the manufacturer and Evinrude are involved in improving the alert sequence for when the fuel tank(s) is getting low on gasoline.
Out of curiosity do you work for Evinrude/BRP and if so what department do you work in? I know alot of people would like an official response to the status on the low fuel tank issue? To many rumors!
On these low fuel alarm pop-ups. I wish Evinrude would give us the option to turn the low fule tank alarm off and give us an option to input our fuel tank capacity and then let us set a gallon amount to alarm on how much fuel we have left or consumed would be the best option. I reset my flow scans every trip
Most people I know run off of the flow scan/totalizer anyway.
The official response is contained in a previous post stating that the issue is being addressed.
When there is any more information concerning low-fuel alerts, Evinrude dealers will be notified.
