My g2 has been running 10mph slower than usual, burning s lot of oil, and now has started just shutting off while at idle!! Any ideas?? I have tried to check for winterization mode on the computer, but when i go to that selection it doesnt give me any option to turn on or off! It just says winterization!

Your motor is under warranty. Contact your dealer to look at it for you.

My local dealer is awful, won't get it back for a month and u cant get them to schedule appoinments! Ordered parts from them last year for my Ranger (in person) called 4 times to see if them came in for a month! Never got a return call or parts!! Finally drove hour and half to buy from another dealer!

The technology used today on computer-controlled low-emission engine requires training and special tools and software making it difficult for the average person to fix themselves. It is like current automobiles, appliances, etc. that take more than an adjustable wrench and a screwdriver to repair.

That is why we recommended the dealer for your symptoms.

You can choose a different dealer or contact Evinrude After Sales at  http://www.brp.com/en/forms/contact-us.html
