Re: Propeller

Sorry no 5 blade propeller.

The RX4 allows higher than normal trim settings on average. Is your rig and setup different than normal?

nosecone will not void other non-related items but could affect coverage on cooling system or gearcase and propeller related abnormalities.  Be sure to have a water pressure gauge installed.

The factory recommends that a properly trained technician service your Johnson or Evinrude outboard motor. Should you elect to perform repairs yourself, use caution, common sense, and observe safety procedures in the vicinity of flammable liquids, around moving parts, near high-temperature components, and working with electrical or ignition systems.

The information offered here is only general in nature and should not be construed as complete factory approved procedures, techniques, or specifications. Always use the proper service manual for your motor, up-to-date service literature, the correct tools, and have an understanding of how to proceed with troubleshooting and repair methods. If you are unsure or uncomfortable with a procedure, a situation, or a technique, enlist the services of a factory trained technician.

Re: Propeller

The rx4 15x 20" looses grip over 50 % of ntrim. The engine hieght is in the middle possition.

Re: Propeller

Do you think a true tracker Stabilizer plate from bobs machine will affect good on a 19 foot rib with a 150 HSmiley Surprised G2 Evinrude Weghis 900 kilos.

We do not comment on products that are not approved by or recommended by Evinrude.

The percentage of trim does not mean much as it is only a relative number that is the result of the hull design, the angle of the transom, and the weight distribution in the boat.

Jumping  waves is not considered normal operation by any outboard manufacturer and could possibly be associated with abuse.  If the engine records a number of rev-limiter activations such as from over-revving while the boat is airborne, those occurrences could affect future warranty consideration depending on the circumstances and type of damage.

Perhaps a rubber prop would soften your landings.

All kidding aside, how hard you land is governed by the waves, wind, and the boat hull design. How fast the prop is spinning also makes a difference whether it accelerates or decelerates  the boat when the blades "regrab" the water. Note how a throttleman on an off-shore race boat massages the throttle levers as the boat launches off a wave and then again as it re-enters the water.

You may want to contact  epa.gov  for the federal fines and possible prison penalties that may be imposed for changing an engine's horsepower rating or emission output on a 1999 or later outboard motor. These apply to manufactures, repair personnel, and individuals.

Re: Propeller

There are no settings available in the EMM to change engine performance.
Installing any performance parts would void your warranty.
