Another I can't find the Model Number or Year

[ Edited ]

Hello,

The sticker with the information is gone. I have tried to do some research and believe that the engine is of the 90-92 model year.

Can you tell me the modelname and year exactly?

EDIT: Just realized that I posted in the wrong category, apologize for that.

Look for a silver disc about the size of a quarter on the engine block and post the numbers

From your pix it appears to be a 1989-1990 model and most service and maintenance parts parts are the the same

The factory recommends that a properly trained technician service your Johnson or Evinrude outboard motor. Should you elect to perform repairs yourself, use caution, common sense, and observe safety procedures in the vicinity of flammable liquids, around moving parts, near high-temperature components, and working with electrical or ignition systems.

Always use the proper service manual for your motor, up-to-date service literature, the correct tools, and have an understanding of how to proceed with troubleshooting and repair methods. If you are unsure or uncomfortable with a procedure, a situation, or a technique, enlist the services of a factory trained technician.

Re: Another I can't find the Model Number or Year

Hi Bill, Thank you very much for your answer, I have been looking but can not find the tile. Do you know exactly where it sits or can it vary from model to model or year to year?

When browsing for parts or looking for a manual, wich would be the corret choice?
