I thought it would be neat to find out what river is your favorite to fish? Mine is the Mississippi River. Second would be the Missouri!
Best of Luck!

Having lived up north for years, Baptism River in MN running into Lake Superior. Lots of water to fish, steelhead, salmon, lake trout, even carp and walleyes. Really miss the North Shore.

John Ruhu, was looking for a way to quote your St. Croix and Mississippi choice but don't seem to have that feature here. I just got down posting in another thread about time I spent on those rivers. I lived in the twin cities and used to hit the St. Croix above Taylor Falls a lot. Loved the scenic country and variety up there.
Fished the Mississippi mainly above Dayton where the Crow River comes in.
I kudo'ed your choice. People ask me what I miss about moving south and I say the friends we left and the rivers. I don't miss below zero temps, -50degree wind chills, and ice fishing. Happiest day was when I sold the snowblower.
