Hi. Enjoying the 2-Stroke 25hp e-tec on my 3.8m rib. Rev counter records 6300 RPM at full speed of 24 knots. Obviously it’s a generous reading as I understand the Rev limiter would have kicked in at around 6200. I have the stock 10.3 prop and I’m looking for some help to choose a bigger prop with the aim of a higher top end speed. Thanks
The rev limiter may be 6400. If you are running an aluminum prop switching to the same size stainless prop may drop your RPM. Or you can go up 2" in pitch. The 10.3 is the diameter of the prop, the second number is the pitch.
