Humminbird Helix 10 Integration

I'm in the process of ordering a 15HP Etec kicker to go with my G2-200. I have a Humminbird Helix 10 unit that also sits on my NMEA netowrk with my G2-200. The Helix unit has the ability to support engine data for two motors and I would like to be able to look at either engine on my display along with motor temp etc. I have had some issues with the Helix 10 getting data like engine temperature and my fuel level is well...consistently inconsistent. I can have a full tank of gas and the unit will not read full on either my Evinrude display or the Humminbird display.  I'm looking for any integration best practices or items for my dealer to go look at.

Unfortunately the Evinrude E-TEC 15 HO does not have networking capabilities.

The inconsistent fuel readings could be the gas tank level sender, any AD converters, wiring problems, or even incorrectly seated connector pins in the fixtures. It may take a trained tech to troubleshoot the system for you. 9 times out of 10, fuel reading problems are related to the sender assembly and wiring.

The factory recommends that a properly trained technician service your Johnson or Evinrude outboard motor. Should you elect to perform repairs yourself, use caution, common sense, and observe safety procedures in the vicinity of flammable liquids, around moving parts, near high-temperature components, and working with electrical or ignition systems.

The information offered here is only general in nature and should not be construed as complete factory approved procedures, techniques, or specifications. Always use the proper service manual for your motor, up-to-date service literature, the correct tools, and have an understanding of how to proceed with troubleshooting and repair methods. If you are unsure or uncomfortable with a procedure, a situation, or a technique, enlist the services of a factory trained technician.
