New G2 250 HO testing

Will begin testing different props next week. Just finished rigging the 250 HO on a 1990 22' Activator. Did a quick run last week to make sure everything was working, but didn't shake it down completely. Have a few props to try and will report back. Starting with a Bravo XS 27", Fury 4 25", and a Trophy Plus 26", should get a good baseline.

So far, very impressed with the engine. So quiet and smooth, power delivery is amazing. I have the foot throttle, the travel is very short but wasn't a problem, felt good. Only have 1 hour of run time, so will get some more hours on it, and seat time. Running a 6" SeaStar Gen 2 jack plate. Boat is heavy, but should run decent.

Re: New G2 250 HO testing

Ya, I'm hoping for mid t high seventies, but it's setup for rough water, not top number. Can't wait to put more hours on it.

Should get some time with the Bravo 1 XS 27" next week. Very curious about that prop.
