Max charge voltage should be approximately 14.5 - 14.7 volt range. A deeply discharged battery will hold that voltage level down until battery is sufficiently charged.
Thank you Sparky and Rick, checked battery 12.76 V, started motor at idle ran approx. 5 min and it went up to 13.80, how does that sound?. For the 3 hrs i was running the trolling motor(separate system 36 V) the only thing running was the 2 graphs and livewell. I appreciate all your help.
12.76 V would indicate 100% state of charge for a lead acid battery at rest. As voltage increased with running, it is obvious that at least some level of charging current is being supplied from engine.
To fully characterize the charging system, you need a means to measure charge current as well as the voltage.
