The Evinrude E-TEC G2 does not have adjustable oil programming for XD-100. Some of the older previous generation E-TECs did.
What prop and size do you have and what it the top rpm with a normal load on board?
What kind of boat, model, and size do you have and what is the top speed?
To check true oil consumption. fill the gas tank to the brim and the oil tank to the brim and run the boat until it is low on oil. Carefully measure the amount needed to fill it back up and keep track of the gasoline used during that time.

The factory recommends that a properly trained technician service your Johnson or Evinrude outboard motor. Should you elect to perform repairs yourself, use caution, common sense, and observe safety procedures in the vicinity of flammable liquids, around moving parts, near high-temperature components, and working with electrical or ignition systems.
The information offered here is only general in nature and should not be construed as complete factory approved procedures, techniques, or specifications. Always use the proper service manual for your motor, up-to-date service literature, the correct tools, and have an understanding of how to proceed with troubleshooting and repair methods. If you are unsure or uncomfortable with a procedure, a situation, or a technique, enlist the services of a factory trained technician.

Your motor is running too slow, 5000 rpm, and is lugging from being over-propped. The motor is dumping extra oil into the engine to protect it.
The 4-blade RX4 is a great prop but it needs to be less pitch to allow the motor to reach near its mid-point rpm 5600-5700 rpm. Engine is recommended to run within 5400 to 6000 rpm
There are no oil settings on a Evinrude E-TEC G2 and XD-100 is the best for your motor.

Who is your dealer? As Bill mentioned, get those RPM's up and you'll see a drop in oil consumption.
